About our Workshops

Located in the heart of Denver’s vibrant LoHi neighborhood, Stryker Studio offers an unforgettable silversmithing experience surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. In our workshops, you’ll design and create your own custom jewelry using high-quality semi-precious gemstones and .925 sterling silver. No prior experience is necessary! Our expert silversmiths will guide you through every step, making the process fun, creative, and stress-free.

You’ll choose the type of jewelry you’d like to create—whether it’s a classic ring, pendant, or bracelet, or something more unique like a bolo tie, keychain, or hat pin.

Next, you’ll explore our gem table, brimming with a stunning selection of semi-precious stones in various shapes, sizes, and colors. From vibrant turquoise to sparkling quartz, you’ll find the perfect gem to make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Pricing

Workshops start at $85, with the final cost depending on the materials and gemstones you choose. Most participants spend between $120 and $160.

What to Expect

Our gemstone workshops typically last 2–3 hours, depending on group size and the designs being made. You’ll enjoy a hands-on experience, creating your piece from start to finish. While this is a beginner-friendly workshop, our silversmiths will handle certain steps for safety and precision.

Whether you’re crafting a ring, pendant, bracelet, or bolo tie, your finished piece will be both beautiful and meaningful—ready to wear with pride or gift to someone special.

Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Lydia Stryker

Favorite gem: Larimar

Favorite food: My mom's green chili

Favorite travel destination: Thailand

Lydia discovered her love for silversmithing in high school through evening courses, but has since been self-teaching techniques and continually dabbling in the craft. During a family trip to Thailand, they stumbled upon a lively afternoon silversmithing class. Lydia saw this teaching style as a fantastic way to spread the joy and sense of accomplishment she loves about silversmithing with everyone, not just hobbyists. Now, she's thrilled to bring this concept and the wonderful feelings of accomplishment and creativity to the people of Denver!
